Anatomy of the Best Sandwich in America
We'll admit it. We're proud of every sandwich we make in our original Fremont and new SoDo location.
But don't just take our word for it. Critics and food lovers agree, and consistently vote Paseo the Best Sandwich in Seattle. We have topped Yelp twice as the third and second highest rated restaurant in the country. The Food Network and Esquire featured our Caribbean Roast as The Best Sandwich in America!
What makes a Paseo sandwich so great?

We believe it's our unwavering commitment to marrying great Caribbean flavors with the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients. Our chef starts slow-roasting our juicy pork shoulder at 4 am every morning to make sure it's ready to be topped with our golden sweet caramelized onions - a perfect complement to our bodacious sandwiches. Then there's the prized sauce. Our special garlic aioli punches up the flavor to deliver an authentic Caribbean experience, even on the gloomiest Seattle day. Topped off with pickled jalapeños, fresh cilantro, and crisp romaine lettuce to round out this burst of tropical deliciousness.

Everyone agrees, Paseo makes the best sandwich in Seattle

"You'll immediately be drawn to it -- like a less pervy Pepe Le Pew -- by intoxicating smells of caramelized onions and slow-roasted pork wafting out of the building and washing over the inevitable line outside."

"Absurdly good Caribbean comfort food. After lunch, prepare to join the restroom line of people washing off the spattered remains of big, sloppy, beautiful sandwiches."

"I love this place! Great place to stop before the game. Every part of that giant juicy meaty sammie was wonderful. It’s far better and cheaper than the stadium food. Can't wait to go back. YUM!"

"Best Cuban sandwiches EVER!!! Fantastic local beer selections. Don't forget the delicious fries served with their garlic aioli sauce and their massive corn on the cob lathered in sauce and spices."

"The sandwiches here are the messiest, but best tasting sandwiches in Seattle! I can definitely see this place as a well known spot to locals. I usually don't go for sandwiches, but this place seemed like a Seattle staple."

"Ooo baby...Paseo's Caribbean Roast had me all hot and bothered. The sandwich came out dripping and piping hot, with juicy roasted pulled pork shoulder, perfectly caramelized onions, and jalapenos on a beautifully toasted baguette. I almost lost it after taking my first bite."
